The Ladies Let’s Go Fishing Foundation (LLGFF), a non profit public 501C3 charity, is hosting a fishing and cultural trip to Havana, Cuba May 18-22. LLGFF has added this venue to its typical offerings of fishing seminar weekends to expand opportunities for participants to experience fishing in another country.
“Cuba offers unusual fishing where species such as marlin can be released in sight of land. General tourism is still banned by the embargo but this trip is exempt,” commented LLGFF Founder Betty Bauman.
Starting at $4950 per person plus airfare, the excursion includes lodging, dinners, deep sea fishing, transportation, guide, translator, visa processing, a 57 Chevy vintage car tour and cultural experiences. The trip is focused on women however men can attend. Registration is requested by March 15 to allow processing time for visas.
Programs hosted by “Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing!” have generated 8,000 graduates over the past 20 years. Upcoming events are listed below. Most offer a fishing immersion weekend program of classroom presentations, networking, hands-on skill practice and an optional charter fishing trip.
