FISHING REPORT Typical of this time of year: OFFSHORE: Decent tuna and kingfish, sailfish have shown up early, some mahi and wahoo around. INSHORE: Snook, tarpon, trout snapper and permit are biting. Plus some great items from Flanigans and more Ladies Choice! Register a male guest for the educational portion, plus he has the option to fish! Rates are per person. Discount for Women bringing teens! Discount applied for the adult woman and her teens – Only $75 each!

Social Angler $85 LIMITED TO 5 ONLY THEN WAIT-LISTED. This option is ONLY for the Welcome Social on Friday, party on Saturday and signing up for fishing. No goodies. If you took LLGF before or a few times and cannot attend the Saturday events, this may be for you. Does not include the educational day and hands-on skill practice but does include TWO parties. To get one -on-one time with these captains during the skill practice would normally cost hundreds of $. For that you need to sign up with the early registration of $125 or regular registration once early registration expires. The regular entry includes the parties so you don’t need to sign up for Social Angler if you already signed up for the regular entry. Same cancellation policy applies. Make this weekend a mini vacation of learning, networking and fishing. Come down for some fishing on Friday before everybody else heads to the keys for the weekend, then stay till Monday to continue fishing!

Friday 8 am – 3 pm: Bonus Full Day Fishing (new half day option for offshore only) for qualifying for Fishing Fever Prizes (must fish Friday and Sunday) When you fish a full day you have more time to get out to where the fish are! Friday: 6:30-8:30 pm Kickoff Party – Meet the other ladies and see who is on your boat! Cash bar and appetizers. The first of our two raffles and beginning of Silent Auction- get your bid in early or buy it now to beat out the competition. Complimentary entry for registrants. Spouses & Guests may also attend. At the Elks, Tavernier, FL MM 82 Bayside.
Sat. 9 – 4 or 4:30: 8:30am check in, 9 – 1 pm Indoor speakers for Fishing Basics, Inshore and Offshore, lunch, stand up fish fighting, conservation, dehooking. 1:15-2:30 Indoor skills such as knot tying, ballyhoo rigging, lure usage, dehooking/releasing. 2:30-3:30 or 4 Outdoor skills such as spin casting, net casting possibly, all are depending on instructor availability. Talk with and learn from your instructors one-on-one! Times are approximate due to movement of people. Stations may vary due to staff and weather. For more description click HERE. Raffle and conclusion of silent auction. Afterwards – early evening party at Seaside Glass Works MM 82 Bayside 5 or 5:30 – 7pm. Optional/additional, Rates are per person. Coming alone? Don’t worry, no need to fill the boat, we do it for you! No equipment is necessary. Fishing times include boat time to the fishing grounds and back and perhaps a stop to catch fresh bait. NOTE, due to fuel prices if you signed up before price change or if prices change after you sign up we will notify you and you pay the difference. Sunday Fishing 3/4 day Rates, includes tournament entry for Fishing Fever Tournament, top prize for those fishing Friday and Sunday plus daily prizes and Catch Ticket prizes – Charter boat rates have increased for 2022. $100 plus tax Party Boat RESERVE ON YOUR OWN (NEW TIME IS 9 TO 2. bring gratuity of $20 not incl.) Bottom fish for grouper and snapper, perhaps mackerel! Includes use of rod/reel. Captain Michael out of Robbies, it goes drift/bottom fishing. Note: Book this for Friday. If you book for Sunday you return too late for awards at Whale Harbor. You are still welcome to book on Sunday but you will not be able to enter your catch nor receive any Sunday awards as you return too late.
Fishing from back country/flats boat, fish shallow water, catch redfish, snook, trout. On an inshore boat you are busy casting and have 3-4 people per captain – lots of individual attention! This is a good bet for people who get seasick as that usually doesn’t happen on an inshore boat.There are no bathrooms on this choice but they can usually take you to a bathroom.
$315 Backcountry/Flats Fishing (3/4 day approx. 7 am – 1 or 1:30), gratuity and not incl., BASED ON 3-4 persons/per boat) Fish for snook, tarpon, trout, redfish, bonefish and more. Limited slots available. Fish for snook, tarpon, trout, redfish, bonefish and more. This is a good choice if you tend to get seasick. These boats may leave from a different location and you drive in your winning fish. If all the boats that take 3-4 are booked and you are on a boat that only takes 2 you will be advised of upgrade fees. $325 Offshore Sportfishing or Center Console Boat (3/4 day approx. 6:30 7 am – 1:00 or 1:30), gratuity not incl., 6 persons/per boat) Fish for sailfish, kingfish, wahoo, dolphin and more! You may troll offshore, catch bait, go bottom fishing and more! It is up to the captain for what is biting and where. For all fishing we may have to combine women and couples to fill a boat. Friday Bonus Fishing Day! You do not have to do the same type of fishing. You can go offshore fishing on Sunday and inshore for bonus fishing day to have an awesome fishing experience! A full day allows you to more time get the fish if they are further out. Note: Cancellation terms apply the same for bonus fishing days. Come early, stay late! Rates based on full boats.

While it’s quite a rare catch, your chances are good on this boat and this crew is quite capable.
