Ladies Nail the Bass at Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing Bass Academy Sept. 22-23 Lake Wales, FL

            Ladies came from around Florida to tackle bass fishing at the Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing Bass Academy, held Sept. 22-23 at Camp Mack, a Guy Harvey Lodge, Marina and RV Resort in Lake Wales, FL. Hosted by the nonprofit Ladies Let’s Go Fishing Foundation (LLGF), the tournament kicked off on Friday with a bass seminar by Capt. Scott Taylor, followed by a huge burning bass bonfire, dinner and entertainment. Women released eleven largemouth bass up to 20.5 inches in a half day of fishing from two boats. Everyone had a chance to fight a fish, with many releasing the first bass of their lives.

The Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing Foundation (LLGF) is a national charitable 501C3 organization dedicated to attracting women and families to fishing and encouraging conservation and responsible angling.
