Ladies Catch Keys Fishing Skills at LLGF Keys University Nov. 9-11, 2012

Nearly fifty women came by boat, air and car to learn from the pros at the award winning “Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing!®” Keys weekend University, November 9-11 at BPOE Elks, Tavernier, FL.

The women joined the ranks of more than 7,000 University graduates who have attended the University for many reasons. Diane McMahon,Coconut Creek,FLwanted to learn more about boating and inshore fishing. Cindy Campbell,Elkton,FLhad attended before but came to learn additional skills. Belinda Martin came from Turks and Caicos to experience the diverse Keys fishing.

Women Conquer Everglades Fishing at the “Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing!” University Oct. 13-14

Women from both coasts of Florida as well as other states joined together to learn how to fish the 10,000 Islands at the “Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing!” Everglades University Oct. 13-14 at Port of the Islands Everglades Resort. Mary Trice came to celebrate her birthday and share fishing fun with her daughter, Angel Boyle, West Palm Beach, FL. Fay Mallory, Venice FL had fishing on her bucket list. Suzi Gates came from Ormond Beach, FL to learn how to choose lures, an activity she described as ‘frustrating.’

For this event, held in conjunction with support from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) through the Sport Fish Restoration Program, thirty lucky ladies experienced an exciting weekend of education, hands-on fishing activities, habitat conservation and networking – Everglades style! With picture-perfect fall weather, with only a couple brief rain showers, the ladies had a chance to capture the essence of this unique and beautiful place.

Treasure Coast Fishing University Lures Ladies

STUART, FL, 5/2012 — Nearly sixty women traveled to the Treasure Coast “Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing!” University to learn fishing from the experts May 18-20 at Pirates Cove Resort & Marina, Stuart, FL. Held in conjunction with Florida’s Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the program was attended by women who came for a variety of reasons. Owner of three boats up to 45′ and tired of cruising, Jan Bethmann, Palm City, FL wanted to experience the excitement of fishing.
