            The award-winning Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing nonprofit series ventures to the Florida Everglades Nov. 19-20 for a wilderness fishing adventure. The Everglades program includes a Saturday class on specific fishing in 10,000 Islands, a home cooked potluck dinner and a full day of back country fishing on Sunday out of Chokoloskee Island park. An additional day of fishing or mothership kayak fishing is offered on Saturday for those who want to come a day early. Lodging is offered.

Reservations must be made by Oct. 1, 2016 for those wanting to stay overnight in Chokoloskee Island Park. Women can register men and teens.

Located about a 45 minute drive southeast of Naples, this pristine area features wilderness fishing where anglers can fish near mangroves and beaches, plus view a variety of birds and sea creatures.

Featured on national network television and more, the LLGF series is supported by major partners including Recreational Fishing and Boating Foundation, Mercury, Ranger Boats, Magic Tilt trailers, Penn, Humminbird, Minn Kota and Fish Florida. About “Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing!”

 

The Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing Foundation (LLGF) is a national nonprofit 501C3 organization dedicated to attracting women and families to fishing while encouraging conservation and responsible angling. LLGF promotes networking and emphasizes mentorships. Founded in 1997 by Betty Bauman, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, LLGF has over 8,000 graduates and is the largest organization in the world whose objective is to introduce women and families to fishing. Events include weekend programs at meeting facilities with hands-on and classroom education and a fishing experience as well as international adventures.
