Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing! Learn to Fish

Registration is $49 early entry, $59 the week of event includes entry to the show. Sunday fishing is optional. You can register and pay for seminar/fishing all at the same time or check off “not fishing” if that’s the case. Book early if you’re fishing! The earlybirds get first pick of their fishing spots!

The show and the Ladies day seminar is at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S. Franklin St., Tampa FL 33602  on Sept. 12.

Noon–6pm; 2019 Early Bird Cruise 10–11:15 am

Ladies, join us for a day of fishing fun and networking. Learn fishing strategy and techniques, practice skills, and meet other women who like to fish at this “No Yelling School of Fishing”. We supply everything you need—no equipment or experience required.

Hosted by Betty Bauman, founder of Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing. Speakers and instructors include Capt. Leiza Fitzgerald, Pamela Wirth, Stacy Horak, Alice Trautman, Stewart Ames, others TBA.

Early birds catch the boat—Freedom Boat Club Bay Cruise. Enjoy a pontoon boat cruise on the bay from 10–11:15 am. Capacity is limited; first come first served upon the boat departure.

Optional Charter Fishing Trip (no classes) Sunday Depart 7 to 7:30 am from various location for 6 hour trip, $225 per person. Practice your new skills on the water angling for snook, redfish, trout, snapper and more. Charter boats hold 2–4 people; fishing licenses and gear provided. Please sign up early in advance for the charter boats. We will give you the contact info for the captain and other ladies on your boat so you can coordinate and get there ON TIME.  If you sign up for a boat that is not full we will contact you with options.

Gratuity of 15-20% NOT included, pay cash to the captain on site.

Inshore and near shore boats, for snook, tarpon, redfish, trout, cobia, sheepshead, snapper & more.

Spots are limited, first to signup have best chance. Meet your boat at the locations below. Inshore boats do not have bathrooms. Just pay for your spot, we’ll work on filling the rest of the boat and advise of options if not full. Reservations are not cancellable nor refundable unless the captain decides not to fish that day and a reschedule is not possible. We hope for fish but can’t guarantee.

2019 Fishing rates per person  Approx. 7 am – 1 pm 6 hours Inshore/Bay – Pls note snook, redfish and trout are all release due to FWC regulations this year. There are other fish you can keep, Most boats take 3-4 people

$55 Drift boat fishing out of Hubbard’s Marina, Madeira Beach, FL, reserve on your own. 8 am to 1 pm. This is a different kind of fishing (bottom fishing) and offers an affordable way to get on the water and meet other women. There is also public on the boat and a bathroom. There are no instructors on the boat but there is a mate to help the anglers. Fish for bottom fish – snapper, grouper and more. A 5 hour trip with 3 hours of fishing. Tip at 15 to 20%.

If you are late or miss the fishing trip through us you forfeit your fishing fees, as the rates are based on full boats.
