Such as something in new condition – a fish plate, jewelry, art, tackle, certificate for something from your business or if you know any restaurants/hotels etc who will do a certificate, please contact us early on as we close the submissions 2 weeks before the event. We will need info so we can do a description and list it on the auction when it is sent to you in advance.

On Sunday the experience continues for those who opted for fishing. There are no classes scheduled on Sunday as most of you will be out fishing.

Fishing Adventure Notes: Be sure you have pre-paid for your Fishing Adventure to guarantee your fishing trip, as space is limited. If you noted on your registration there are others in your party, we will try to put you on the same boat but cannot guarantee it. Type of fishing (trolling, live baiting, bottom fishing, etc.) will be the preference of the boat captain. We inform the captains of our objectives and expect them to do their best to make your fishing trip enjoyable.

There are no class instructors on the boats, so it is up to you to ask the captain and/or mate questions. We cannot guarantee you will catch fish, but we usually have fish brought to the dock when fishing conditions are good.

Please be prepared for the unpredictable Florida weather. Brief rain showers are not unusual. Wear soft sole shoes. Swimsuits are OK. For the charter, bring sodas, snacks/lunch, sunscreen, rain gear and a hat. It can be cool in the morning, we recommend zip off pants and a jacket. Your rods & equipment will be provided on boats. You will be asked to sign a waiver. Boats will depart at various times. Exact times will be on your name badge. Arrive a half hour early. Most boats will depart from Stuart Corinthian Yacht Club unless advised otherwise. If you are not on your boat at the time of departure that you have been told, you will miss your fishing trip and forfeit your fishing adventure fee.

The boats will not return to the dock earlier for any reason except unsafe conditions. They will not return because of seasickness! Bring money for gratuity for the charters, per person approx. 15%. There is no complimentary food on Sunday. You will need to arrange for your transportation to the dock. You will be allowed to keep the legal sized fish you catch.

Please bring you own cooler, plastic bags and ice, as we do not provide them.

THOSE FISHING should read and print out the Fishing Attachment.
